I was filling out my new-er bank info into PayPal, and they offered to “verify” my account instantly if I’d only be so good as to give them my online banking username and password. Seriously? That has to be one of the most absurd things they’ve ever done, full stop. The best part is the “Your account information will not be retained” disclaimer, as if those words are some incantation against identity theft.
