Netflix doesn’t have email-based tech support, because they feel an all-phone system with real people is a more personal approach. Maybe, but at the moment their site is mostly down; the main page loads, but if you try to pull up the page for any TV show or movie you get a nice “Sorry, we’re fracked” error. Try calling the phone support, and you get “We are experiencing higher than average call volume. *click*”. And by *click* I mean that they FUCKING HANG UP. At the least, they should have a call-back option like most major phone support lines. Hell, they ought to have that ANYWAY, because spending 5 minutes on hold is annoying on a good day, but spending 30 minutes watching TV or whatever while waiting for a return call… that ain’t so bad.
